Bio
Obituary: Hubbard Lee Seaman , who spent his working life in the commercial seafood industry, died Wednesday at an area hospital. He was 93. Seaman was a lifelong resident of Bayou La Batre. Survivors include eight sons, Royal Seaman , Arnold Seaman , Gary Seaman , Elton Seaman , Lonnie Seaman , Charles Seaman , Lenwood Seaman and Mark Seaman , all of Bayou La Batre; one brother, Levert Seaman of Irvington; two sisters, Ida Hebert and Gladys Lyons, both of Bayou La Batre; 54 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 10:30 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral at Higher Ground Baptist Church. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Bayou La Batre. Serenity Funeral Home on Old Pascagoula Road in Mobile is handling arrangements.
