"CARLOS LEWALLEN Carlos L. Lewallen, 65, of 2725 Roberts died at 1 p.m. Sunday at Hendrick Memorial Hospital. Services are pending at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange. Born March 14, 1911, in Taylor County, he grew up in Taylor County, moving to Abilene in 1916. He married Katherine Harwell April 7, 1952, in Lovington, N.M. Mr. Lewallen worked for Abilene State School from 1949 to 1960 and worked for Plowman Feed and Grain Co. the past 13 years. Survivors include his wife; four stepdaughters; his stepmother, Cora Davis of Jersey Shore, Pa.; a sister, Thelma Kreisher of Jersey Shore, Pa.; and a brother, Roy of Modesto, Calif."
