Daughter of Charles White and 1st wife LaVerne Hunt. Her grandfather Littleberry Swinney White fought in the Revolutionary War, and her father and one brother fought in the Texas Revolution. Married Isaac C. Skillern 1830 in Haywood County, Tennessee.
