Bio

Danford Esgate Taken by Death Danford Esgate, 90, Coeur d'Alene resident for 53 years, died yesterday at a local hospital following an extended illness. The family home is at 802 Elm avenue. Mr. Esgate, born at Battle Creek, Mich., was custodian at several Coeur d'Alene grade schools before his retirement. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Aurilla Fetter and Mrs. Georgia Conquest, both of Venice, Fla., several nieces and nephews including Mrs. Adolph Molstead, Coeur d'Alene. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 from the Yates-Morse Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Felthouse officiating. Cremation will follow.
