Services for David Henry Vieregge, 89, of Grand Prairie, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at White Memorial Chapel in Tahoka with Richard Rush officiating. Burial will be at O'Donnell Cemetery under the direction of White Funeral Home of Tahoka. He died on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, in Grand Prairie. He was born on June 25, 1911, in Belton. He moved to Grand Prairie from Lubbock in 1969. He married Lois Vieregge on March 26, 1939, in Roby. She preceded him in death. He was a mechanic for Lubbock Pollard Ford and Reese Air Force Base. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Gerald Vieregge of Grand Prairie; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
