Daughter of Miles Price and Emeline Markham OBITUARY THE CHARITON HERALD Chariton, Iowa Thursday, November 10, 1898 LAGRANGE Again the silent reaper has visited our community. Miss Mabel Price, aged 20, who went to assist Mrs. Bert Tabor during the illness of her children with diptheria, was taken down with the same disease last Monday evening and died Saturday at noon. She was laid to rest in the Russell cemetery on Sunday. Owing to the nature of the disease only a few of the older friends of the family accompanied the remains to their last resting place. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church. She leaves a father, mother, three brothers and one sister, who have the heartfeld sympathy of the entire community in their great bereavement.
