Ella Barbara Lutringer Orsak Engbrock Age 98, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. She was born on December 4, 1920 in Louise, Texas to the late John & Albina Kacal Lutringer. Ella grew up and raised her family in Louise and graduated from Louise High School. She was an outstanding cook, especially baking kolaches, cinnamon rolls and pies. She also enjoyed tending her flowers and garden and was a big Astro's fan. She never wanted to be disturbed when watching her Astro Games on TV. She enjoyed playing bingo, dominoes, and word games while she resided at the SPJST Nursing Home in Hillje, Texas. When she lived in Wharton she enjoyed playing card games with her ladies' group on a regular basis. She was a current member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Hillje, Texas at the time of her death and a member of the Catholic Daughters Court Our Lady of the Clergy No. 1990, Wharton Texas. Ella is survived by her daughter, Linda Veselka (Johnny) of Hillje, and her son, Robert Orsak (Margaret), of Victoria. Also surviving are six grand-children and nine great grand-children. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Joe P. Orsak, second husband, Harry Engbrock, son Glenn Allan Orsak and two sisters and two brothers. Visitation, Rosary and Funeral will be on January 28, 2019 at Saint Andrew's Catholic Church in Hillje with Visitation starting at 9 AM, Rosary at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM with Father Clem Quainoo officiating. Interment will follow at Saint Andrew's Cemetery. Pall bearers will be James & Donald Orsak, John & Brandon Powell, John Shannon Veselka, and Albert Stavinoha, Jr. Honorary pall bearers will be the great grand-children. The family wishes to thank the SPJST Hillje Nursing Home and Staff and the Houston/El Campo Hospice for their loving care to make her final days peaceful and comfortable.
