Bio

Mrs. Kathryn W. Clayton, 60, of 1909 Sheffield, died Monday t home after a long illness. Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at the Village Baptist Church, with burial in Bethany Cemetery directed by Bill Merritt Funeral Service. Born in Lindsay, Mrs. Clayton lived in Ada before moving to Oklahoma City in 1910. She had been a secretary or the Oklahoma City School Board and was a charter member of The Village Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Harvey; three daughters, Allen Shelton, Harrah; Kay Base, Broke Arrow and Annette Shelton, Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Jack Dixon, McAlester; three sisters, Anna Mae Smith, Oklahoma City; Marie Sinnett and Mattie Lou Evans both of Ada and seven grandchildren.
