OGDEN STANDARD-EXAMINER SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 5, 1970 page 11 OBITUARIES LaFonta Tuttle CLEARFIELD - Mrs. Lafonta Tuttle, 71, of 74 S. 350 E., Clearfield died this morning in the McKay Hospital of natural causes. Mrs. Tuttle was born April 11, 1899, in Manti, a daughter of Orson H. and Matailda Jensen Lowry. She was married to Arnold George Livingston on Dec. 14, 1921, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Aug. 14, 1926. She was married to David H. Tuttle on June 7, 1934. He died June of 1945. she had worked many years for the Federal Housing Administration at Verdeland Park in Layton and in the accounting division at Hill Air Force Base. She had lived 14 years in Layton and 15 years in Clearfield. She spent her early years at Castle Dale and Orangeville, Emery County. She was a graduate of Henegar's Business College. She was active member of the Clearfield LDS 1st Ward, where she had served in the Relief Society. While in Castle Dale she had been president of the Primary and served with the MIA. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Arnold Dale Livingston, George Lowry Livingston, Mrs. John (Lois) Riggs, all of Clearfield; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Clem (Geneveive) Gordon, Rangley, Colo.; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Clearfield 1st Ward Chapel, 350 Center, with Bishop Kent Murdock officiating. Friends may call at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 S. State, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until 9:30 a.m. Additional funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Castle Dale Ward Chapel where friends may call on hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Castle Dale Cemetery.
