Bio

Mrs. Rose Ella Uptmor of Route 2, West, died June 29, 1988 at her residence. Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. July 2 at St. Martin’s Cemetery in Tours, the Rev. Isidor Rozycki officiating. Mrs. Uptmor was born near Shreveport, La., and had lived in the West-Leroy area since 1956. She was a registered nurse and head nurse at the Marlin Veterans Administration Hospital and at hospitals in Clifton and Hubbard. She attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Baylor University and McLennan Community College. Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West was in charge of arrangements.
