Bio

Zula's husband, Willie Joe Lentz, was severely disabled from being exposed to Mustard Gas on the Western Front of World War 1 in France. The impact of this severely limited his physical abilities. Zula worked very hard on their farm. She was working in the field all day in August in West Texas, and was overcome by sunstroke. She was found in the field after not returning to the farm house.
