#48397366: My name is Jill Allen and I was also born in 1953. Julie is my half-sister as we had the same mother. Judy Hayles is a half-sister as she and Julie had the same father, Columbus Adrian Hayles, Jr. The marriage between Adrian and my mother was annulled 20 July 1948 in Stanislaus County, California. Julie was killed November 24, 1952 in Modesto, California while spending the night at her grandmother’s (Myrtle Beall) house in an accident with gas from the stove. The accident also killed two of Julie’s cousins, Clayton Frankie Beall (1950-1952) and Leslie Allen “Buddy” Beall (1947-1952). The three children are buried side by side in the cemetery in Modesto, California (Acacia Memorial Park).
