MEMPHIS - Ella B Blum, 82, died Thursday, June 25, 2009. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Church of Christ with Tom Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery by Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis. Mrs. Blum was born Oct. 27, 1926, in Lakeview to the late Thomas Martin and Artie B Stanford Martin. She attended grammar school at Webster and was a graduate of Lakeview High School. She married Jackie Lee Blum on Nov. 31, 1944, in Memphis. He preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1985. She was a lifelong resident of Hall County. She was a homemaker and a Church of Christ member. She also was preceded in death by a son, Jimmie Blum. Survivors include a son, Jackie Blum and wife Kay of Memphis; a daughter, Patricia Smith and husband David of Plano; two brothers, Raymond Martin and wife Norma of Memphis and Tommie Martin and wife Jerri of Lakeview; six grandchildren, Jennifer Clark of Clarendon, Lee Allen Blum of Kennedy, Kim Webb of Merit, Dustin Blum of Memphis and Dedra Smith and Nathan Smith, both of Plano; and a host of nieces and nephews.
