The Rev. C.A. West, pastor of the Eustace Methodist circuit, officiated being assisted by Rev. Burton Meredith and Rev. L. Cook. The deceased was a native of Alabama, having been born on December 1st, 1852 in Sinclair county in that state. He was brought to Texas by his parents in 1859 and had since been a resident of this state. At the age of 33, he married Miss Willie Ann Morris and to this union six children were born.
