NOEL, Mo. — Ralph David Younker, 78, of Noel died June 16, 2009. He was born Oct. 10, 1930, in Ogallala, Neb., to Lloyd and Essie Buttery Younker. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a supervisor for Allied Chemical Co, retiring in 1982. In 1983, he moved to Noel and farmed. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Noel. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Bonnie Younker; a daughter, Lorrie Shorney and husband Roger of Marionville, Mo.; a son, Clayton R. Younker and wife Lori of Noel; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, twin sisters, Margaret Poulos of California and Margie Meredith of Union, Neb. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Noel with Jim Wallis officiating. Burial will follow in Noel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ozark Funeral Home in Noel. ∼ Husband to Bonnie J. Younker, who survives.
