Pittman, James Harmon, 84, retired from Tinker Air Force Base, died Thursday. Graveside services 1 p.m. today, Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City (Bill Eisenhour NE, Oklahoma City). ∼ James Harmon Pittman, 84-year-old resident of Norman, OK, passed away on April 2, 2009 in Norman Regional Hospital. Born December 22, 1924 in Ardell, Texas, he was the son of John Pittman and Julia P. Jackson Pittman. Mr. Pittman was a retired electronics inspector at Tinker Air Force Base. He loved fishing and all aspects of home repair; electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc. he did all of them. Survivors include 1 son, Wayne Pittman and his wife, Lori of Norman, OK; 1 grandson, Chad Pittman of Norman, OK; 3 brothers, William Pittman of Washington; Clinton Pittman of Arizona; Harold Pittman of Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews. Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, OK.
