Husband of Jessie Ree Bland Connally; Father of Nautie Faye Connally & Don Connally by Carla born Ellis Co., TX - died Stamford, TX He had served as police officer in Rotan, Spur and Stamford for 37 years before retiring. He married Jessie Ree Bland on 7 September 1924 in Stamford. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church. Five brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Survivors; his wife; daughter - Mrs. H.T. "Nauta" Scoggins of Azle; son - Donald; two sisters - Marie Kohout of Stamford and Lois Bautwell of Haskell; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Central Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Cook of Raton, NM officiating assisted by Rev. Randall Stewart, pastor of Central Baptist Church.
