Mrs. D. S. McGee, 64, Dies; Funeral Set At Roscoe Tuesday Roscoe, Aug. 10 - Funeral for Mrs. D. S. McGee, resident of the Brownlee community here, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Sullivan, pastor, will officiate and burial will be conducted in Roscoe Cemetery under direction of Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. McGee died Sunday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. A. J. Robinson of Roscoe. Pallbearers will be Van Voff, Roland Landfried, R. B. Cain, Henry Clark, C. B. Lee, and Wendell Cleckler. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church. Mrs. McGee was a registered nurse and active in the First Baptist Church and community affairs. She had lived at Baird and was supervisor of nurses at the hospital there. She was born June 15, 1889 in Alabama as Evvia Connally. She was married in Baird on Nov. 13, 1936. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Robinson; one son, D. C. Barton of Longdale, Calif.; three brothers, J. W. Connally of California, D. H. Connally of Rotan and O. U. Connally of Levelland; three sisters, Mrs. J. M. Waggoner of Haskell, Mrs. John Kahout of Stamford and Mrs. Bill Bowell of Haskell; five step-children, J. C. McGee of Odessa, D. S. McGee, Jr. of Temple, Mrs. O. B. Brown of Snyder, Mrs. Homer H. James of Fort Worth and John W. McGee of Dallas; and five grandchildren.
