Bio

Geraldine was 1st married to Ruben Luther Ensminger on 1-4-1940. They had one daughter, Judy. Ruben died 8-7-1970 and is buried in Kilgore City Cemetery. On 5-22-1973 she married James Alva Daniel, widower of her sister, Irene. James died 11-9-1988 and is buried next to his first wife in Peebles Cemetery, Livingston, Polk Co. TX. Geraldine married Elton Sartor in 1994. OBIT: KILGORE - Services for Geraldine M. Sartor, 87, of Kilgore, will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with the Revs. Kenneth Mills and Kelly Bryan officiating. Interment will follow in Danville Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. Mrs. Sartor died June 10, 2009, in Tyler. Geraldine M. Scott Sartor was born January 3, 1922, the 10th of eleven children to the late Fletcher and Addie Scott. She was a graduate of Mexia High School. Mrs. Sartor was an member of the the former Kilgore Eastern Star, and the Pine Hill Eastern Star. Mrs. Sartor was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Elton Sartor; one daughter, Judy Oglesby; grandson, Brian Beard of Kilgore; granddaughter, Portia and Lamar Franks of Clayton; stepson, John Ed Sartor of Kilgore; stepgrandchildren, Ashley Katherine Sartor, Guinell and Vernon Midcalf of Center; one sister, Birdie Webb of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
