Shirley Ann Daniel b. 6-9-1955 Obituary: Kilgore News Herald Wed. Nov. 29, 1972 MRS. J.A. DANIEL Funeral services for Mrs. James A. Daniel, 53, the former Irene Scott of Kilgore, daughter and sister of three Kilgore residents, will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday at Pace Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Burial will be in Livingston Cemetery. Mrs. Daniel died early Tuesday in a Galveston hospital after two weeks' illness. She was a native of Wortham but grew up in Kilgore, attending schools here and lived here for a time after her marriage. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Goodrich. Survivors include her husband; five children, Glen Daniel, Nacogdoches, Mike Daniel with the military in Vietnam, Mrs. Portia Wimp, Austin, Mrs. Shirley Munson, Livingston and Mrs. Dixie Nell Jacob, Huntsville; her mother, Mrs. Addie Scott, Kilgore; seven sisters, Mrs. Ollie Mae Morgan and Mrs. H.D. Wright, both of Kilgore, Mrs. R.L. Ensminger, Longview, Mrs. Rachel Red and Mrs. Floyd Cate, both of Mexia, Mrs. Frank Mathis, Mesquite, and Mrs. Birdie Webb, Odessa; three brothers, Oscar Scott, Houston, Austin Scott, Harriman, Tenn., and Levi Scott, Glendive, Mont.; and five grandchildren.
