Bio

Mrs. Helene L. Rose, 53, died Friday evening at the G.S. Home in Gibbon where she had made her home since January of 1967. Born at Sumner, she had been a resident of Kearney for the past 35 years. She was the widow of Henry H. Rose who died in 1965. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include three sons: Richard of Gibbon, Henry of Shawnee, Okla., Allen of Gibbon; three daughters: Mrs. Kathryn Lubberts of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Shirley of Shawnee, Okla, and Joyce of Gibbon: a stepson Paul Rose of Kearney: a sister, Mrs. Della Hartsook of Lincoln: a brother, Robert Dusenberry of Oregon: Two half-brothers, , Russel Stephens of Grand Island and Joseph Stephens of Boise, Idaho and eight grandchildren
