Bio
Edwin R. Palm Jr., of 1406 Prairie Ave. in Cheyenne, died June 26 at United Medical Center -- West. He was born May 30, 1923, in Albin. Palm was a rancher and farmer. He belonged to the Wyoming Stockgrowers Association, the American Legion and Gate City Lodge #32 in Pine Bluffs. He was a member of the Albin Baptist Church. He was survived by two sons, Jerry Randall Palm of Elk Mountain and Michael Jay Palm of Oklahoma; a daughter, Deborah Palm-Egle of Denver; a brother, Gerald Palm of Elk Mountain; a sister, Lois McCalla of Saratoga; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet; a son, Andrew Gust Palm; and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Albin Baptist Church with the Pastor Tedd Mathis officiating. Interment will be at Albin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gerald Palm, Jim Palm, Jack Holt, Richard Larson, Gordon Malm and Lee Malm.
