Obit: Henry J. Janik, 82, of Lake Jackson, Texas passed away Thursday, October 11, 2001 at Cypress Woods Health Care Center in Angleton, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2001 at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Monsignor Leo Wleczyk officiating. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral chapel. Henry was an area resident for 60 plus years, retired from Houston Lighting & Power after 32 years of dedicated service. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Lake Jackson, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Emilie Janik; brothers, August, Robert, Fred and Raymond Janik; and by sisters, Hedie Janik and Marie Grigar. Pallbearers will be Norbert Janik, Robert Janik, Gilbert Janik, James Janik, August Janik, Leonard Thumann and Eddy Joe Kramer.
