OBIT: Junction City, KS. Newspaper April 1994. Funeral services for Bruno "Bob" Cynova, 75, of Junction City, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. He died Thursday, April 7 at Geary Community Hospital. He was born March 3, 1919, in Ashton, Neb., to Alex and Clara (Grudzinski) Cynova. He attended school in Nebraska. He was married to Mae Louise Shane, on Feb. 21, 1943, in Junction city. He worked for the Civil Construction Corp., in Nebraska prior to moving to Junction City in 1941. He worked for several years as a carpenter at Fort Riley, then for Tibitts Construction Company, all of Junction City. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Fraternal order of Eagles Arie 830, both of Junction City. Survivors include his wife, of the home,; two sons, Gale Cynova, of Junction city, and Rev. Gregory Cynova, of Evansville Ind.; one daughter, Kay Moore of Salina; three brothers, David Cynova of Junction city, Leon Cynova, of Columbus, Neb., Ralph Cynova of Grand Island, Neb.; and one sister, Francis Evans, of Grand Junction, Colo. Survivors also include five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Daniel and Andrew Cynova; and two sisters, Rosella Frost and Cecilia Markle. Friends may visit from 1 to 8 p.m. today with the family meeting with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mass-Hinitt-Alexander Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Cynova, Tim Cynova, Roy Westover, Ron Weigert, R. D. Dietrick and Steve Koppenheffer. Organist for the ceremony will be Robin Schermbeck. Memorial contributions may be given to the Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Mass-Hinitt-Alexander Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
