Bio

John Bartleson, the son of William and Nancy (Miller) Bartleson, was born August 25, 1846 in Wayne County, Kentucky. He married May Sloan June 15, 1882. They had five children: Nancy Bessie, Ethel L., Ollie Bell, Billie Sloan and Anna Laura. John died in June, 1889, not 1886; the death date on the stone is incorrect. He died a little more than three months before the birth of the youngest daughter Anna Laura.
