Bio

Mathew John Schwasinger was born March 8, 1831 in Altusshiem, Germany the son of Jakob and Christina Margarethe Nufer Schwasinger. He died at his home in Cedar Township on Mary 18, 1908 at 5:00 p.m. At the time of his death he was 77 years, 2 months, and 10 days. He was laid of rest May 19 at the U.P.(United Presbyterian now known as Majors)cemetery. He leaves to mourn five sons and one daughter. Matthew and Ann were the parents of the following children: Julius, John Jacob, Mary Helen Peters, Franklin Matthew, Edward, Sadie C. Arthur C. Eva A. and William.
