Bio

Eva, the seventeen (twenty) year old daughter of J.J.(Mathew John) Schwasinger, a well known and highly respected farmer living three miles south of Pool Siding, met with a shocking death about half past seven o'clock Tuesday evening. Kearney Daily Hub May 24, 1905, page 3 Eva was the daughter of Mathew J. and Ann Wolfrey Schwasinger. According to the 1900 census she was born in April 1885 in Nebraska. Her parents were both born in Germany. Eva died in a barn fire at her parent's home south of Poole. It is assumed she is buried in the Major Cemetery with the rest of her family.
