Obituary: The Tribune Republican, Thursday January 7, 1937 James N. (This a typo and is most certainly James Milligan Nelson, as he is buried with his parents in Rocky Glen Cemetery, according to resesarcher Karl Dennis of Crawford Co., PA) Nelson, President of the Nelson Funeral Home at Erie, died suddenly at his home Wednesday (January 6, 1937). He was a former Crawford county resident, having been born in Cochranton. Mr Nelson had been a funeral director his entire life and his avocation was architectural work. He designed a number of churches, among them the United Prebyterian Church at Conneaut Lake (Crawford Co., PA). The Nelson Funeral Home was originally started at Conneaut Lake. Surviving are two sons, George B. Nelson of Erie and James Gayle Nelson of Baltimore. Funeral Sevices will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 O'Clock at the Conneaut Lake United Presbyterian Church. Interment is to be made in the Rocky Glen Cemetery, at Adamsville.
