He was born in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, the second son and third child of Drucilla Erria Beasley , b. 1856 Tennessee and Simon D. Beasley, Sr. , b: 1844 Mississippi. Beasley, b: Jan 1897 in Texas He married Miss Mary Caroline "Callie" Slater , daughter of Daniel Boone Slater and Nannie Elizabeth Bell Slater , about 1913 in Rains County, Texas. He and Callie made their home in Hoyt, Wood County, Texas and had two daughters: 1. Drucella Elizabeth "Beth" Beasley Robertson , b: June 13, 1914 d: September 27, 1978, Texas 2. Dorothy Caroline Beasley Cauley , b: 21 Dec 1916 d: 24 Aug 2007, Texas Professionally, he was a miner. At the time of his death from pneumonia and emphysema, he was Mine Superintendent for an operation near Alba, Wood County, Texas. According to his death certificate, his remains were interred in Forest Park Cemetery, Greenville, Hunt County, Texas on December 26, 1917.
