John Anderson Funeral services for John Anderson, 78, of Sulphur Springs, were held Monday . Sept 24, in Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Fred Lewis. Burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park with Arthur Grimes, James Alford. W. L. Newton, O. R. Peck and Frank Odom serving as pallbearers Mr. Anderson died, at 3:50 pm., Saturday, in Citizens General Hospital in Greenville. He was born Feb. 8, 1912. in Delta County, to Gideon Jim and Aft Tolbert Anderson. He married in 1916 in Vera I. Eva Walters In Hopkins County. She preceded him in death in 1973. Mr. Anderson was a retired plumber and a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include one daughter, Angela Presky of Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Frances Mayo of Argyle and Medrith Bays of Dallas; and two grandchildren, Chris Presmy and Crystal Presky. both of Sulphur Springs.
