Bio

Pauline McDaniel, of Lubbock, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 26, 2009 at the age of 90 years. She was born on March 7, 1919 in Eastland, Texas to Nathaniel and Lorene (Cotter) Crockett. She married R.P. McCall in 1938 and he preceded her in death in February of 1972. Pauline then married Billy McDaniel on May 28, 1976. She moved to Lubbock in 1973 from Enochs. Pauline worked for the Postal Service for 26 as a clerk. She was Methodist and a member of APWU. Pauline and Billy owned and operated Fun Tours for almost five years. Pauline loved and cherished her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Billy of 33 years; two daughters, Carolyn Sue Roberts of Enochs and Marilyn Jean Medlin of Temple; two sons, LaDon McCall of Amarillo and Rondy Mack McCall of Gatesville; one stepson, Joe Wiley McDaniel of Dayton, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lou Bridges of Abilene. She was preceded in death by her parents; one stepson, Larry McDaniel, one brother, Herman Crockett; and one sister, Virginia Moudy. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at White Funeral Home in Lubbock. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2009 at Morton Memorial Cemetery in Morton, Texas with Rev. Betty Richardson officiating.
