Bio

Charles V. Fouke (1865-1904) was a mayor of the City of Florence, Nebraska. Born in Ohio, he moved to the city at the age of 15 with his parents. Married with one child, he was a contractor and carpenter. He was also an investor in the Keirle Ice Company. In the 1880s, he served three terms as mayor, and served on the city council before that. He was also a member of the Florence School Board at the time of his death. His was attributed to heart disease, and his funeral was held at Florence Presbyterian Church.
