Bio

Victor G. Bierschenk, 71, a retired auto mechanic, died at a Fort Worth hospital. He moved to Weatherford as a child, and attended Herring-Hightower School. Victor served the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Frieda Neu Feb. 23, 1954. Victor was a longtime auto mechanic and owner of Downtown Garage with his brother, Lawrence Bierschenk. He then went to work for Weatherford Battery and Electric as a mechanic until retiring in 1974. Victor was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church and a founding member of the "Brothers of the Brazos." Survivors: Wife, 3 daughters, 4 sons, 18 grandchildren; 3 sisters, 2 brothers.
