Helen Katherine Wright, 92, of Weatherford passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017. Helen was born June 16, 1925 in Lindsay, Texas to Joe and Matilda Koelzer Bierschenk. She was a homemaker while raising seven children, went to work in the cafeteria at Weatherford High School and retired as manager after 20 years. Helen was a faithful member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting and quilting. Helen is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years, J.W. Wright; daughter, Mary Martin and a son, Pat Wright. She leaves behind her children, Barbara Davis, of Garland, Joseph Wright and wife, Linda, Leonard Wright and wife, Murielle, of Weatherford, David Wright and wife, Lois, of Weatherford and Robert Wright and wife, Molly, of Arlington; sisters, Deloris Gremminger, of Lewisville and Louise Neu, of Chico; brother, Lawrence Bierschenk and wife, Barbara, of Weatherford; sisters-in-law, Eva Mae Williams and Mae Bierschenk, both of Weatherford; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
