Minnie Irene Wallace was born in Dublin, Erath County, Texas. She and Thomas Earnest Slater were married in Nolan County, Texas in 1914. They made their home in Jones County, Texas for half a century. Searchers of our Past, Contributor #47220553, kindly offered the following information. "Obituary and funeral home records all show she was born in Dublin, Erath County, Texas as Minnie Guest. She married T.E. Slater on 20 August 1910 at DeLeon, Texas. The couple moved to Stamford in 1934. Survived by two sons - L.T. and Dan Slater; one daughter - Mrs. Johnny Ollinger; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Stamford. thank you"
