Born July 7, 1895, American Fork, to Alexander and Elizabeth Shipley Thornton. Married Leah Hutchings, April 19, 1919 in Provo; divorced. Member LDS Church. Retired pharmacist. Veteran World War I. Surviving: daughter, Mrs Don (LuAnna) Badham Payson; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sister, Mrs. Louis L. (Leah) Larson, Salt Lake City. Funeral Saturday 11 a.m., Olpin Sundberg Mortuary, Pleasant Grove, where friends may call Saturday prior. Burial American Fork Cemetery.
