Services for Christine I. Phillips, 73, Edgewood, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at Willow Springs Baptist Church with Revs. Max Smiley, Charles E. Patton and Craig Locke officiating. Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton, under direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Inc., Canton. Mrs. Phillips died Oct. 20, 2000, in a Tyler hospital. She was born April 18, 1927, in Oakland Community to the late Joe B. and Jodie Skinner Bynum. She grew up in the Oakland Community and completed high school at Van. She was a member of Willow Springs Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star #667 in Canton. She was along-time member of Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #9171 in Canton.
