Ex-Omahan Dies in Plane Crash Second Lt. Tommy L. McCarron, 21, USMC, a former Omahan, was killed yesterday in an airplane accident at Santa Barbara, CA. Word of his death was sent by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCarron, Omahans until moving to Cheyenne, WY, a year ago, to a cousin of the flier, Mrs. Ben Paskach. Details were not given. Lt. McCarron, a Central High graduate and former University of Omaha student, joined the marines 2 years ago. He graduated from Corpus Christi, TX, in March, and had been stationed in San Diego. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Sister Rose at Mt. Loretto in Council Bluffs, and his grandfather, Thomas W. McCarron, who makes his home with Mrs. Paskach.
