Arizona Daily Star Tucson, AZ Friday, April 3, 1987 McCarron, Robert C., 91, of Tucson, died April 1, 1987; preceded in death by wife, Rita L. McCarron, who died February 21, 1987 at age 86. Robert and Rita McCarron, residents of Tucson since 1952, departed this life after long illnesses. Rita worked as secretary for several employers in Tucson and worked for many years at the employment agency. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Robert was forced by illness to leave his work as Railroad Switchman. He was a member of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the VFW Club #4903 since 1955. Robert and Rita are survived by a daughter, Sr. M. Rita Jane McCarron of Tucson, They were preceded in death by a son Thomas L. McCarron who died in World War II. Robert is survived by a sister, Marguerite Cross of Spokane, WA. Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Friday at Dalton's Palms Mortuary. Mass will be celebrated 10:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Church. Interment will be at Holy Hope Cemetery.
