Bio
Joyce Runyon Frisina (Hoagland) at age 57, a woman of courage that taught everyone she knew what a loving and true friend is, left this world on Father's Day, June 17, 2007, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones and the wonderful staff at the Odyssey House in Conroe, Texas. She met her father, John Thurman Hoagland; her son, Little Dave Runyon; and her sister, Judy Hoagland in heaven. She is survived by her husband, Paul Frisina; her mother, Lettie Hoagland (Vandve); her daughters, Michelle Enloe, Christy DiPace, Amanda Beverly, and Tish Runyon; her grandchildren, Trent Enloe, Taylor Enloe, Blake Enloe, Levi Enloe, Jennifer Prater, Josh Prater, Amber Beverly, Dustin Beverly; her brothers, Chuck Hoagland, Ray Hoagland, Donald Hoagland, John Hoagland, Steve Hoagland, Flash Hoagland, and Roy Hoagland; her sisters, Lois Hopkins, Wanda Carpenter, and Nina Yeager. She was employed by W.T. Bell International and she loved them as family. We would like to thank the many people that visited her throughout her courageous battle with cancer. A special thank you goes to the Odyssey House staff, Lisa Jackson, Patricia Britt, and Lori Flannigan for the extra care given. Bro. Jerry Bontrager conducted funeral services at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2007, Oak Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Oak Shade Cemetery.
