From the LaFollette Press, Thursday, June 3, 1971: Mrs. Hattie Rogers Fulkerson, 86, formerly of LaFollette and the wife of the late Tom Fulkerson, died at 11:45 p.m. Friday in Richmond, Va. She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Effie Rogers Sharp of Silver Springs, Md. and Mrs. Jessie Rogers Dolan of Bradenton, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Roach Mortuary Chapel by the Rev. Owen Hatmaker. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were "Huddy" H.M. Scott, Bill Higginbotham, Marshall Heatherly, Howard Heatherly, Marshall Rasnake and Earl Lawson. Honorary Pallbearers were Jo Fulkerson, Jess Lawson, Wheeler Ridenour, Jim W. Heatherly, and Isaac Sweat.
