From the LaFollette Press, Thursday, October 22, 1970: Joseph H. Rogers, 84, of LaFollette died at 5 p.m. Monday (October 19) at Community Hospital. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Dolan of Bradenton, Fla., Mrs. Effie Sharp of Silver Springs, Md., and Mrs. Hattie Fulkerson of Richmond, Va. Mr. Rogers was a Veteran of World War II, and was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Roach Chapel by the Rev. Ogleva Street. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery with Masonic graveside services.
