Times Record News Wichita Falls, Texas · Wednesday, September 25, 1991 Services for Pearl Lee Scruggs, 86, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with the Rev. Doyle Fuller and the Rev. Nettie Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Burkburnett Cemetery. She died Monday in a Wichita Falls nursing home. She was born January 14, 1905, in what is now Oklahoma, and had lived in Wichita Falls for 55 years. She was a retired cook for Clinic Hospital and Wichita County Farm. She was a charter member of New Midwestern Gospel Center. Survivors include five daughters, Billie Wright, Nona Boyce and June Butler, all of Wichita Falls, Paul Fair of Holliday, Texas, and Faye Meja of Chicago, Ill.; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
