Adeline Spicka Obituary Adeline A. Spicka, 85, of Weston died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at Saunders County Hospital in Wahoo. She was born July 28, 1920, in Prague to Bill and Rose (Polacek) Steinbach. She attended country school District 51 near Prague through the eighth grade. She married John G. Spicka on May 20, 1941, in Weston. They farmed together west of Weston their entire married life. She lived there until just recently when her health failed. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Church, PCCW, Rosary Sodality, St. Johns Quilters and Catholic Daughters. Survivors include: five sons, Ron (and wife, Gladys) of Weston, Dan (and wife, Sharon) of Wahoo, John D. (and wife, Darlene) of Weston, Jim (and wife, Deanne) of Wahoo and Dave (and wife, Cathy) of Omaha; two brothers, John (and wife, Joan) Steinbach of Malmo and Max Steinbach of Wahoo; a sister, Agnes Janecek of Weston; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a granddaughter, a brother and a sister. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Weston with the Rev. Thomas Brouilette officiating. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Svoboda Funeral Home in Wahoo. Visitation will continue after 6 p.m. at the church with a rosary at 7 p.m. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Weston.
