Nancy Catherine Smith was daughter of Thomas M. Smith (1827-1888) and Charlotte "Lottie" Cordell (1829-1862) Thomas was a Baptist Minister, and Merchant in Smithville, Tn. Campbell Co., Nancy was the oldest of 8 children. Thomas married 2nd Delphia Hackler and had 9 more children. Nancy's headstone is about 3 graves distant of her husband Joseph Morgan (1847-1938) Nancy and Joseph married 31 march 1864 Williamsburg, Whitley co. Ky. (Nancy Catherine is Great Grandmother of Flossie Morgan Owens)
