Bio

BUTCHER, ROBERT E. - age 92 of Emerald Ave., passed away Monday evening at Knoxville Convalescent Home. He attended Churchwell Ave. Baptist Church. Veteran of WWI. He was a Knoxville barber for over 54 years. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Blanche Kidwell Butcher; son, Ralph Edward Butcher of California. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, Rose Chapel. Interment Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive Friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary. Published in The Knoxville News Sentinel October 29, 1986, page C10.
