"The Knoxville News-Sentinel," Knoxville, Tennessee, Sunday, May 11, 1986: EDMONDSON, MRS. ETHEL BUTCHER — age 96, of 7722 Bishop Road, passed away 1:30 a.m. Friday at her home. Member of Halls Central United Methodist Church and attended Sharon Baptist Church. Widow of O.V. Edmondson. Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Delta Moyers, Knoxville, Mrs. Dillia Needham, Powell; grandchildren, Norma Lee Mayes, Knoxville, Jewell Lacy, Conyers, Ga., Bill and Bob Needham, Powell; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Butcher, Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, Mynatt's Chapel, Dr. James Robertson officiating. Interment Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens. Pallbearers: grandsons. Mynatt's in charge of arrangements.
