Daughter of Erasmus & Louise (Gondringer) Krumbach. She grew up on the family farm in Polk County and graduated from Shelby High School. Mary went into teaching and taught at a country school. On June 3, 1946 she was united in marriage to Henry Kula in Shelby. Her and her husband farmed southwest of Duncan. Mary was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. She was in the Island Community Club and volunteered at the Red Cross, the Simon House, and at the hospital. She enjoyed playing cards, painting crafts, Husker Football, the St. Louis Cardinals, and her "grandpets". She is survived by: Daughter Linda (Dick) Potter of Battle Ground, WA Daughter LouAnn (Curt) Tenopir of Columbus Granddaughter Nichole Potter Grandson Chris (Heather) Potter Grandson Nathan Tenopir Sister Margaret (Don) Zima of David City She is preceded in death by: Husband Henry Kula Parents Sister Irene Pandorf Brothers Albert, Francis, Victor, and John Krumbach
