Mr. Larson was born April 18, 1868, in Resor, Norway, a son of Ole and Ingerbor Ralston Larson. He came with his parents to Utah when he was nine years of age. They were among the early pioneers of Sevier county, where they successfully engaged in farming. He was an ardent church worker and a member of the local school board and city council for many years. He was also a member of the first band organized in Monroe. He is survived by the following sons and daughters: Archie Larson of Salt Lake, Mrs. Nettie Haltam of Los Angeles, Mrs. Gertrude Rasmussen of Salt Lake, Mrs. Glen Winget, Miss Zatella Larson, Ralph Martin and Victor Larson of Monroe; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Martin Harris of Lehi. Funeral services will be held in the North ward chapel at 2 p. m. today Thursday. Published in the Richfield Reaper 1936-01-30
