Bio

John Danial "Dan" Thurman was the second child of nine, born on October 13, 1899 in Hopkins County, Texas to BL & Ida Watson Thurman. Dan married Bessie Vickers on October 14, 1923 in Sulphur Springs, Hopkins County, Texas. . Dan and Bessie with their son Glen moved from Sulphur Springs to Irving Texas in the early 1950's. Dan was employed at LTV Aerospace and Defense Company, Dallas Texas in the early 1950's and later as a guard at the Dallas Bank. He loved working in his garden. He was truly a great individual, a man to be respected and admired. Rest in Peace, we miss and love you.
